Trojan Actively Rotating on PTP Pages

Please forward this message to all people in PTR.

Current Information:
When you click on a PTP ad it might load a site that is rotating randomly in it which loads the following trojan into your computer:
VBS/TrojanDownloader.Small.DO trojan. This trojan probably will download other Trojans into your PC and if you love your PC, you don't want to get it infected..

How to Prevent from getting infected:
It might be that your scanner doesn't recognize it so: Do not click any PTP ads while the Trojan is active if you aren't sure that your virus and spyware scanner will block and terminate the trojan. Wait untill the trojans are gone by watching this topic.

If you decide to continue clicking PTP ads, be my guest. But be aware that your computer might get infected if a webmaster doesn't know about this situation and hasn't paused all sites that currenlty loads these trojans.

If you stumble upon an infected site:
1. Reply the name of the site here and it will be listed
2. "Report Abuse" on the PTP Page and the webmaster should pause the site
3. Inform the infected site's webmaster, he/she might not know that the site is infected

Which sites are currently infected?
Don't open these sites if you don't have a good virusscanner, you might get infected with a Trojan that downloads other trojans into your computer!

My PC is infected with this Trojan..!
If your PC is infected, you might be able to remove it with the following information:

I haven't tried it myself...Otherwise search on Google for more info...

So.. be carefull with clicking PTP ads these days.. it might load a trojan that your virusscanner won't recognize.
